Important: The following provisions describe our general return and warranty framework. The specific terms applicable to your order are governed by the sales contract or proforma invoice, which shall prevail in the event of any inconsistency.
The inspection period and conditions are as specified in the sales contract or proforma invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, the buyer shall inspect the goods promptly upon delivery and notify us in writing of any defects within the period stated in the contract.
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds are credited within 10 business days to the original payment method. Shipping costs are non-refundable except in cases of verified manufacturing defects or shipping damage.
Commercial kitchen equipment requires professional installation by qualified technicians. Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect voltage or gas supply connection, unauthorized modification, or use contrary to the operating manual is not covered by warranty. Buyers are responsible for ensuring that installation complies with all applicable local codes, regulations, and safety standards.
The warranty period is as specified in the sales contract or proforma invoice. Different products may carry different warranty terms based on their nature, usage conditions, and commercial agreement. The scope of warranty service (including parts, labor, and shipping allocation) is defined in the contract. Unless otherwise agreed, the warranty does not cover: damage caused by improper installation, unauthorized modification, misuse, normal wear and tear of consumable parts, or use beyond rated capacity.
If your shipment arrives with visible external damage, we recommend that you: (1) note the damage on the delivery receipt or bill of lading before signing; (2) photograph the damaged packaging and equipment promptly upon receipt; (3) notify us as soon as practicable at sales@smarthuayi.com with the photos, order number, and a description of the damage. We will coordinate with the carrier to file a claim. Do not discard damaged packaging or equipment until the claim is resolved.
For international returns, the allocation of import duties, customs clearance fees, and taxes upon re-importation to China shall be as specified in the sales contract. Unless otherwise agreed, the buyer bears all such costs. We recommend labeling returned shipments with .Returned Goods . No Commercial Value. to facilitate customs clearance, though duty exemption is at the discretion of customs authorities.
